2a)THERMOSIPHON/ THERMAL STORE The TSTS is a an advanced design which offers the user greater flexibility with regards to unit situation and offers the benefit off mains pressure hot water which is of the same quality as that which is supplied. If mains water is inputted to the system, potable hot water will be supplied at the taps enabling its use for cooking, pre-heating kettles etc. further reducing energy consumption. Also, the fixed thermal store of water eliminates problems of lime scale buildup, therefore prolonging the life of the system without the need for water treatment, itself inexpensive, but requiring the annual inspection and maintenance of that unit. In the TSTS the water delivered to your tap is passed through a heat exchanger coil, picking up the heat of the water in the tank. This results in a much smoother transfer of energy without the thermal shock associated with adding cold water to a depleting volume of hot water. The result is the smooth decline in water temperature as the thermal store is used up (unnoticeable if a thermostatically controlled mixing tap is installed). Even if until the water temperature drops to below the usable temperature range, the water will not just run out – gone are the days of being left standing in a cold shower with shampoo on your hair!!! The mains pressure coil enables the unit to be situated wherever the solar insolation is the greatest, without the need to be situated above the point of use. Obviously energy (and cost) will be conserved if the pipe runs are kept to a minimum, but also standing losses can be reduced if the integrated tank can be situated in an area of reduced exposure (wind, driving rain) Immediately Available in 15 Tube (58mm) 132 Litre Nett Capacity (up to 250l.)Key Benefits
2b) Mains Pressure 'Heat Pipe' Cylinders A hybrid of design, The heat pipe tubes are inserted into 'dry' sockets in a mains pressure; stainless steel cylinder. The heat pipe tips extend into the cylinder heating the main body of water. Key Benefits
